Terms and Conditions of Use

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Dentyx software-as-a-service ("Service"), operated by Dentyx ("we", "our", "us").

By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Service Description

Dentyx provides an artificial intelligence–powered speech-to-text service designed for dental professionals to create and manage clinical notes. We may enhance, update, or modify features at our discretion.

Subscriptions and Billing

• The Service is offered on a subscription basis (monthly and annually).
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
• Payment is collected in advance through approved payment processors.
• Refunds and cancellations are subject to our Refund Policy (see Section 7).

Enterprise Plans

Custom terms may apply to enterprise-level agreements. In the event of conflict, the enterprise contract shall prevail over these Terms.

User Obligations

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.
• You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable regulations, including but not limited to the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.

Data Protection and Confidentiality

You acknowledge that, in respect of any patient data processed via the Service, you act as Data Controller and Dentyx acts as Data Processor, within the meaning of the UK GDPR.

We will process such data only on your documented instructions and will implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure security and confidentiality.

Intellectual Property

• All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, algorithms, and trademarks, remain the property of Dentyx.io.
• You retain ownership of clinical notes, transcripts, or other content generated using the Service.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Monthly Subscriptions:

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation must occur before the next billing date to avoid further charges. Payments already made are non-refundable.

Annual Subscriptions:

You may cancel at any time. Payments already made for the annual term are non-refundable. Cancelling will prevent renewal at the end of the current term.

No partial or pro-rated refunds are provided.

Limitation of Liability

Important Notice

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

• We shall not be liable for clinical decisions or outcomes based on the use of transcripts generated by the Service.
• Our liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the total subscription fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your subscription by cancelling in your account settings.

Governing Law

United Kingdom Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
